A: To service the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, drain the cooling system, remove the air cleaner assembly and disconnect the sensor's electrical connector with an L-shaped hook tool. Checking current sensors remove the sensor, install the new one with a torque of 6-8 Nm, reconnect the electrical connector and reinstall the air cleaner assembly.
