How to Service a Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2000 Dodge Ram 3500?

To service the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, drain the cooling system, remove the air cleaner assembly and disconnect the sensor's electrical connector with an L-shaped hook tool. Checking current sensors remove the sensor, install the new one with a torque of 6-8 Nm, reconnect the electrical connector and reinstall the air cleaner assembly.
