How to service and repair the starter motor on 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

To repair the starter motor, disconnect the battery negative cable and raise the vehicle. Remove starter motor, battery positive cable and engine wire harness. For installation reconnect the harness, tighten the battery cable and install the starter motor. Make all screws tight and reconnect the battery.
