How to Service an Exhaust Manifold on 2000 Dodge Stratus?

Before servicing the exhaust manifold, separation from the manifold and taking out the entire exhaust system is necessary. Following that, remove the exhaust manifold heat shield and separate the oxygen sensor connector. Take out the fasteners on the exhaust manifold and then discard the gasket that was located under it. Before installing, set up the manifold gasket alone, place the exhaust manifold on top with no sealer, start with the central fasteners and then tighten the rest, outward to inward, until every bolt reaches 23 Nm (200 inch lbs.). Hook up the oxygen sensor to its electrical connector, fix the exhaust manifold heat shield in position and bring the exhaust system back together. Next, join the exhaust pipe with gasket to the manifold and fasten them with 28 Nm (250 inch lbs.) of torque.
