How to Remove and Replace a Lash Adjuster on 2000 Jeep Cherokee?

To replace lifter/lash adjuster, keep components in order. Remove the cylinder head cover, bridge, pivot assemblies and rocker arms, loosening capscrews alternately. Remove push rods and tappets with some tool. Install new tappets-no oiling required and reinstall push rods, rocker arms and cover-tighten capscrews to 28Nm.
