How to Service and Repair a Trunk Lock Cylinder on 2000 Jeep Wrangler?

To service the tailgate lock cylinder, opened the tailgate and removed the latch cover. Remove the retainer clip and remove the lock cylinder. For installation purposes, place the cylinder, attach it to the latch rod, reinstall the retainer clip and finally, replace the latch cover.
