2001 Chrysler Concorde Ignition Coil Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace an Ignition Coil on 2001 Chrysler Concorde?
A: First spray some compressed air around the coil area and spark plug to replace the ignition coil. Then, separate the electrical connector from the ignition coil, being careful not to lose the spacers underneath that coil as the screws are loosened. From there take out the two fasteners holding the ignition coil assembly in place and remove the assembly itself. Install position of the ignition coil assembly onto spark plug and fasten with coil screws torque to 6.2 Nm (55 in. lbs.) for installation. Finally reattach the electrical connector.
