How to Service and Repair a Camshaft Seal on 2001 Chrysler LHS?

You need to take off the camshaft sprocket(s) before you can work on the seal. After that, insert Special Tool C-3981B through the camshaft seal hole, apply pressure and pull the seal up. Before the installation, apply just a little engine oil to the edge of the camshaft oil seal. Fit the seal into place using Special Tool 6788 Seal Protector Sleeve and Seal Installer 6052.
