How to Service an Oil Cooler on 2001 Chrysler Town & Country?

Prior to servicing the oil cooler, drain the radiator and disconnect both the hoses connecting it to the radiator. Once you're done with the tubes, you should also take out the oil filter and oil cooler connector before handling the oil cooler assembly. To put the oil cooler in place, lubricate the seal and attach it to the fitting of the oil filter adapter, with the flat part of the oil cooler level with the oil pan rail. Then, attach the oil cooler connector and tighten it to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.), before you put in the oil filter. Attach the connections of the oil cooler again and completely fill the cooling system.
