How to Service and Repair a Thermostat Housing on 2001 Chrysler Town & Country?

For fixing the thermostat housing, the cooling system must be drained, the vehicle raised and the belt splash shield removed. Remove the radiator lower hose and oil cooler hose, if it is present. Remove the inlet tube, clean the surfaces, lubricate the new O-ring with grease and reassemble, tightening bolts to 28 Nm.
