How to Perform a Seat Switch Replacement for the Passenger Power Seat on 2001 Dodge Durango?

The first thing to do is unhook and isolate the battery negative cable before replacing the passenger power seat switch. Take off the side shield that is on the seat cushion. Open the seat by removing the switch bezel or side shield unit to reach the switch wire harness connector. Carefully push the locking tabs away from each other then pull out the connector from the power seat switch module. Take out the screws that are holding the power seat switch in place. Installation should start by putting the switch on the seat cushion side shield, connecting the electrical part and attaching the screws to set it in place. Add the cushion side shield back to the seat. If the recliner lever is included, put it on the recliner mechanism release shaft and secure it with the screw located at the front seat's outside edge. Lastly, attach the negative cable to the battery again.
