How to Maintain a Door Handle for Optimal Performance on 2001 Dodge Neon?

Remove the door trim and ridge first, then pull the door glass toward you after shutting the door. Get the lock rod and the latch rod loose from the door latch and then remove the nut that holds the retainer for the door handle on the outer board. Afterward, take the retainer from the back of the handle and pull out the handle from the vehicle. Then, position the handle in the door, anchor the retainer at the rear of the handle and install the nut that holds the retainer to the outer door panel. Secure the lock and latch rods to the door latch and finally fit on the door trim panel and water dam.
