First, remove the seat from the car, then take off the side shield on the front seat cushion and lastly remove the seat back. After that, take out the track and recliner assembly along with the seat cushion. If your seat cushion heater element has a connector, connect it and then assemble the track and recliner with the bolts tightened to 12 N.m (9 ft.lbs.). With that, set the seat back down, tightening the bolts with torque of 40 N.m (30 ft.lbs.), next attach the shields and afterward place the seat back into the vehicle.
