How to service the power mirror switch on 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Van?

In order to service the power mirror switch, unconnect the negative cable of the battery. Take out the control knob, nut and mirror flag bezel. Turn off the switch connector and remove the switch. To install: reverse the procedure: reconnect the switch, reconnect the bezel and nut, reconnect the knob and reconnect the battery.
