How to Maintain and Fix a Coolant Reservoir on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500?

The first thing to do when servicing or fixing the reservoir is to remove the hose from the radiator. Then, quickly unsnap the coolant reserve/overflow tank from the fan shroud by lifting it straight up; you will see the fan shroud was made with T-shaped hooks for the tank and there is an alignment pin on the side of the tank. Snap the tank into the two slots and make sure it's in line with the fan shroud pin before reconnecting the hose to the radiator.
