How to Service a Rear Crossmember on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500?

To service the rear cross-member, raise the vehicle and remove the transfercase skid plate. Support the transmission, remove the mount nuts and remove the crossmember. For the installation, mount the crossmember, tighten bolts to 102 N.m, reinstall mount nuts at 61 N.m, then remove support and reinstall-skid plate.
