How to replace the alternator on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

In order to replace the alternator, connect the negative battery cable, remove the drive belt, and remove the generator bolts. Disconnect the B+ terminal and field wire connector and remove the generator. For installation, reconnect field wire, B+ terminal and tighten all bolts. Finally, fit the drive belt and re-connect the battery cable.
