How to replace the instrument panel Car Speakers on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

Before changing the instrument panel speaker, start by separating and blocking the battery's negative cable. Peel back the top cover off the instrument panel, then unscrew the two fasteners keeping the speaker in place. Pull the speaker away from the holes in the car until the speaker wire harness connector is visible, then unplug from the car's wire harness and remove the speaker. Place the new speaker onto the instrument panel and then attach the speaker wire harness to the instrument panel's wire harness connection. Put the speaker into the mount in the top of the panel and install each of the two screws to a torque of 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). After that, attach the top cover to the instrument panel and bring the battery negative wire back.
