  A: First, remove both the battery and the battery temperature sensor to remove the battery tray. Also, take out the screws on the bottom of the battery tray that are attached to the battery tray support, the screws at the back that secure the battery tray to the dash panel bracket and the two screws on the outboard side fastening it to the left cowl panel. After that, you can take out the unit made up of the tray and tubes. Later, remove the two nuts joining the battery tray support to the weld studs on the left front wheelhouse inner panel and take out the battery tray support too. For connection, look at the battery tray and attach the battery tray support to the weld studs using the two nuts at 22.6 Nm (200 in. lbs.). After mounting the battery tray, screw one at the top to the left and the other to the nearby dash panel support, both at 11.8 Nm (105 in. lbs.), then fasten both screws at the rear to the inner dash panel to the same tightness and the last two at the tray support bars, again at 10.7 Nm (95 in. lbs.). Guide the formed tube from the battery tray to the front extension through the front wheelhouse inner panel, pushing down on the top of the tube to seal it in the mounting hole in the tray. Install the temperature sensor on the base of the battery and then put the battery back in the tray.
