How to service and repair the heater control valve on 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

To fix the heater control valve, cool the cooling system. For the front valve, unplug the vacuum connector, remove hoses and remove the valve. For the rear valve, drain the system, remove the cover, disengage the control cable and remove hoses. Reinstall both valves and fill up the cooling system again.
