How to service and repair the A/C Clutch on 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

In order to fix the compressor clutch, disconnect the battery, serpentine belt, and sleeve out the clutch coil. Take off the clutch plate and pulley assembly then the clutch field coil. Install parts, making sure that there is a correct alignment and an air gap of 0.35 to 0.65 mm. Lastly, reconnect the battery and switch the compressor.
