How to service the Power Steering Gear Seal on the pitman shaft on 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

To service the pitman shaft seal, clean the shaft, loosen the preload adjuster nut, and center the stub shaft. Remove the side cover and pitman shaft, remove the dust seal, retaining ring, washer and oil seal. Install the new parts, reattach the assembly and tighten the bolts in the side cover.
