To service the rocker arm assembly, the cylinder head cover and gasket, then the rocker arm bolts and pivots, then the push rods (in order) are removed. For hydraulic tappets replace the cover 5 minutes after the crankshaft is aligned to TDC and components are re-installed in the same order.
