How to Maintain a Battery Tray on 2001 Dodge Stratus?

Before touching or servicing the battery tray, disconnect the remote negative battery cable and take the battery out of the vehicle. After that, remove the left headlamp assembly. After you confirm the battery is off, open the hood again and take out the battery tray holding bolts. Once you have the battery tray back in, put in the retaining bolts and tighten them to 14 Nm (160 in. lbs). First, put the new battery into the car. Afterwards, place the left headlamp assembly in and then attach the negative cable to the remote battery.
