How to Maintain and Fix a Water Pump on 2001 Jeep Cherokee?

In order to service the water pump, it is necessary to disconnect battery, drain the cooling system, and take off the electric fan assembly. Disassemble the fan, power steering pump and the pulley. Disconnect hoses and take out pump cleaning surfaces and checking them. Install back with correct torque, rejoin hoses and fill-up of the cooling system.
