How to service a drain plug on 2002 Chrysler 300M?

To service the radiator drain plug, first cool the cooling system. Don't take plugs out when they are hot to avoid burns. Do not use pliers on the draincock. Turning the draincock counterclockwise and check for damage and replace if necessary. Reinsert and tighten the draincock and refill the cooling system.
