  A: First, cut the connection and isolate the battery negative cable when changing the door mounted speaker to avoid damaging output devices. Once you remove the door trim panel, then unscrew the four screws attached to the speakers. Remove the speaker from beside the door and take out the wiring that's attached to it. When putting the speaker in place, hook up the speaker wire and drop the speaker down into the opening. Attach the speaker by putting the four screws through the mounting bracket, put the door trim panel back on and then negatively connect the battery cable to the speaker.
