How to Service and Repair a Door Check on 2002 Chrysler Prowler?

In order to fix the front door check, shut the door glass and take away the trim panel and water shield. There is a check strap on the cowl and door which should be removed and the new strap installed in the right way. Tighten clamps up to 12 N.m, and replace watershield and trim and check door.
