How to Service a Trunk Lid Latch on 2002 Chrysler Prowler?

Lift the convertible top and open the deck lid in order to service the trunk/liftgate latch. Indicate the point of latch, unscrew fasteners, and unconnect the wire. Install new latch, and reconnect the wire and secure. Note: the solenoid and cable cannot be serviced, but must replace the whole assembly in case of fault.
