How to service and repair a single cardan universal joint on 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

To repair a cardan universal joint, remove the propeller shaft and snap rings. Use an arbor press to knock off the bearing caps, tapping if necessary. Grease and set the cross in place and put on the bearing caps with snap rings. Finally, grease fit and fit the propeller shaft back in place.
