2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Van Weather Strip Parts and Q&A
Q: How to service the dual cargo door Weather Strip on 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Van?
A: Start by pulling the top corner of the dual cargo door seal in an outward direction which will pull the retainers from the holes in the door panel. Carry out this step all the way along the edge of the door until you are sure all the seal is gone and make sure there is no adhesive left on the inside of the door. Initially, put adhesive on the door's inner panel around the outline. Then place the weather strip in position on the door. Move from the upper side of the door and put in the seal retainers into the holes in the door panel, so that the seal is sitting properly at every corner, without stretching. After you have installed the door, remove any left-over adhesive, check the fit and correct it as required.
