How to service and repair the sliding cargo door Weather Strip on Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

Unfold the cargo door and make sure the weather strip is exposed to start servicing and fixing it. Remove the screw and bumper that you can see at the edges of the seal across the top. Taking hold of a corner of the seal, pull outwards, then remove the rest of the seal from the door opening. Eliminate any remaining glue from the opening with a proper solvent and then tidy up by using a suitable cleaning product. Before installation, adhere a weather strip seal around the perimeter of the opening and put it in place. Put the lower backs of the seals against the bottom area of the entry door and push them up as you press the seal on the door. Reattach the screw and bumper where the seal meets the car door at the corner and then adjust the door so it fits perfectly without damaging the seal when closed.
