How to Remove and Install a Vapor Canister on 2002 Dodge Ram 2500?

Two EVAP canisters are installed, one on each side of the bracket which is placed below the back of the cab on the outside of the right frame rail. Remove each fuel tube/line from the individual canisters before you take out the canisters, marking the places they were so you can put them back easily. After that, remove the nuts from inside the mountings and unlink each canister from the mounting bracket. Place each canister on its bracket, insert the nuts and tighten them until you reach a torque of 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.). Afterward, attach the fuel tubes/lines back to every canister.
