How to Effectively Service and Repair an Evaporator on 2002 Dodge Ram 3500?

Before servicing or repairing the evaporator core, pull out the HVAC housing and break down the two housing pieces. Take the a/c evaporator out from within the HVAC unit. Set the evaporator coil into the base of the HVAC housing, reassemble and place the whole unit back in your car. When replacing the evaporator, put 60 milliliters (2 fluid ounces) of refrigerant oil into the system.
