How to Effectively Service and Repair a Heater Core on 2002 Dodge Ram 3500?

In order to service the heater core, remove the HVAC housing and then unscrew and lift out the heater core. For installation, lower the core back, position the retainers and tighten with screws at 2.2 N.m (20 in. lbs.). Last but not least, reassemble the HVAC housing in the vehicle.
