  A: Before servicing the windshield washer pump, unconnect and isolate the battery's negative cable. After that, separate the headlamp and dash wire from the connector on the motor and take out the washer supply hose from its barbed nipple so that the wash solution can be collected for later use. Work the trim stick or suitable flat tool all around the barbed inlet nipple on the washer pump to gently pop it out of the rubber grommet seal in the reservoir, making sure not to damage the reservoir. Removing the rubber grommet seal from the center of the washer pump hole in the reservoir and throwing it away. During setup, push a new rubber grommet seal into the hole for the washer pump. Press the rubber grommet seal in the reservoir and the barbed nipple of the washer pump together, making sure you don't leave any space between them. Connect the washer hose to the pump's barbed nipple and after that, reconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness to the connector marked "Motor." Replace the washer reservoir fluid with more fluid and reattach the negative cable to your battery.
