Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable as the first thing to do when changing the instrument panel speaker. Following this, remove the stands for the A-pillar and the top instrument panel material. Loosen the two speaker screws, then take off the wire harness connector and the speaker at once. To install the new speaker, join the wire harness connector to it and fix it with two screws at 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.). After that, put the instrument panel top cover and A-pillar trim back in place and then connect the negative battery terminal.
