To service the hazard warning switch, disconnect the battery negative cable, remove the upper steering column shroud, and take out the multi-function switch. Reinstall the switch with screws tightened to 2.3 Nm, then reattach the shrouds and screws at 2 Nm, and reconnect the battery cable.
