How to replace a hood hinge on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To replace the hood hinge, support the hood and mark the position of the hinges. Remove the gas prop. Detach the hinge from hood and body. Install the new hinge using marks, and tighten bolts and nuts to 12 N.m (9 ft. lbs.). Reinstall prop and check the fit of the hood.
