How to Perform a Seat Switch on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

You should disconnect and separate the negative battery cable before replacing the memory set switch. Afterward, remove the front door trim from the driver's side. Take out the wire harness connector of the memory switch from the driver door module connector. Release the memory switch by unscrewing the two holders in the back of the door panel and pulling it out. On the back of the driver's front door trim panel, set the new switch in position and tighten the two screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). Reattach the memory switch wire harness connector to the driver door module connector and afterward, mount the trim panel onto the front driver's door. At the end, link the black battery cable back to the negative terminal.
