How to Service and Repair a Hood Latch on 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To fix the hood latch, open the hood and mark the location of the hood latch. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the release cable. Install the new latch using the cable and bolts. Align it to marked locations and tighten to 28 N.m and check hood alignment and operation.
