2003 Chrysler Sebring Air Filter Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain Your Air Filter for Optimal Performance on 2003 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Before working on the air cleaner, first unhook the negative battery cable and the inlet air temperature sensor electrical connector. After that, pull out the fresh air makeup hose from the throttle body air inlet hose and the PCV hose from the intake manifold. Loose the throttle body air inlet hose clamp and take the hose off the throttle body. Test in on the locking tabs to break the connection between the air inlet hose and air cleaner housing, then detach the throttle body air inlet hose and air cleaner together, separating the pieces. Before installing, remove any particles from the housing of the air cleaner and fix the air cleaner to the throttle body air inlet hose. Position the air inlet hose from the throttle body into the air cleaner housing and once it clicks into place, attach that end of the hose to the throttle body, tighten the clamp. Put the PCV hose on the intake manifold, the fresh air makeup hose and the electrical plug of the inlet air temperature sensor and then reconnect the negative battery cable.
