2002 Chrysler Sebring Air Filter Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service an Air Filter on 2002 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Before you service the air filter, disconnect the negative battery cable and the air temperature sensor's electrical wire. Subsequently, pull out the hose from the hose clamp at the throttle body and take off the hose from the throttle body air inlet. Press in on the lock tabs to let go of the air inlet hose from the air filter housing and pull it far away enough to let you detach the air filter inside with a screwdriver. Pull off the throttle body air inlet hose and then gently take out the air filter in the housing. First, wipe out debris inside the filters and attach the new type on the bosses for installation. Attach the air inlet hose again to the air filter and hear a click sound from the locking pins, then tighten the clamp. Plug in the fresh air hose and the inlet air temperature sensor electrical connector after which you should rejoin the negative battery cable.
