  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Transmission Speed Sensor for Output on 2003 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Before servicing the Transmission Speed Sensor, remove the negative terminal on the battery and lift up the vehicle using a hoist. Then, take off the output speed sensor's connector and unscrew the sensor and if you see any damage to the O-ring, replace it. Before installing, check that the O-ring is aligned, then fix and tighten the input speed sensor to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). After that, hook up the speed sensor connector and the negative battery cable.
