How to Remove and Install a 9 1/4 Inch Axle Shaft on 2003 Dodge Durango?

To remove the rear axle shaft (9 1/4 Inch), put the transmission in neutral, jack the car up and remove the wheel, tire and brake drum. Drain lubricant, remove differential cover and remove axle shaft. Installation lubricate components, reinsert axle and reinstall differential cover.
