How to Service and Repair a Hood Latch on 2003 Dodge Durango?

In case of repairing the hood latch, mark its position by opening a hood. Take out the bolts and unhook the release cable. Insert the cable again, fix latch and fasten it with bolts screwed in to 10.7 N.m (80 in.lbs.). Close the hood and adjust the latch as required.
