How to Effectively Service and Repair a Power Steering Pump on 2003 Dodge Intrepid?

To repair the power steering pump, remove the battery and siphon the fluid from the reservoir and then detach the supply and return hoses. Cap the reservoir, remove the pressure hose and loosen the serpentine belt. Remove the mounting bolts of the pump, make room with a screwdriver and remove the pump assembly for replacement.
