How to Service and Repair Valve Stem Seals on 2003 Dodge Neon?

Before servicing or repairing the valve guide seals, remove the valve spring. Use a valve guide seal tool next to take off the valve guide seals. While installing the valve seal, place it firmly and correctly over the guide, let the valve stem act as a guide, but do not push the seal against the top of the guide helping to install the valve guide seal/valve spring seat. Only compress the spring enough to install the valve retainer locks. Don't take out the garter spring inside the top area of the seal. Next, put the valve spring back into place.
