How to Service the Idle Control Valve on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500?

The IAC motor on the throttle body can be accessed by taking out the air resonator box. After that, take the connector off the IAC motor and loosen or remove the two bolts holding it. Once the IAC motor is removed from the throttle body, you should put the IAC motor back on and tighten the two mounting bolts to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Next, plug the electrical connector back into place and screw the air resonator to the throttle body.
