How to Maintain Your Muffler on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500?

Raise the car and use heat valve lubricant to the clamp nuts to service the muffler. Unhook the hangers, take off the muffler and have the new muffler and clamps loosely assembled. Tighten the nuts to 48 Nm, lower the vehicle and inspect it in terms of leaks and clearance.
