How to Service and Repair a Sway Bar Link on a 4X2 on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500?

Service the sway bar link on a 4X2 vehicle by starting with the vehicle raised and supported. After that, take off the lower nut first, next slide out the upper nut, retainer and grommets and lastly, take the sway bar link from the vehicle. Place the sway bar link back on the car, insert the lower nut and fasten it to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). Afterwards, remove the O-ring and place the retainers, grommets and upper nut and tighten the whole structure to 38 Nm (27 ft. lbs.). After all that, pull out the support and slowly lower the car.
